Why Most Perfume Dupes Fail
Before we get into the good ones, it helps to understand why so many dupes disappoint. The most common failure is concentration. A lot of inspired-by fragrances run at 10 to 15% concentration, which is standard EDP territory. At that level you'll get the character of the original for about two hours and then it goes flat.
The second failure is ingredient quality. The most expensive raw materials in fragrance (jasmine absolute, oud oil, real birch tar, quality ambroxan) are what make the originals distinctive. Substitute them with cheap synthetics and the opening smells vaguely similar but the drydown is completely different.

We test every fragrance blind, multiple times, across different skin types, over full days. We don't rely on first impressions. Fragrance only really reveals itself over 6 to 8 hours of wear, and the drydown is where most dupes fail. We test all the way through.

Yes. It's legal to create and sell fragrances inspired by other fragrances. What's illegal is copying a brand's trademark, trade dress, or bottle design. Aromara's fragrances are original creations with our own names, formulas, and packaging. Inspiration is not infringement.
Do perfume dupes smell exactly the same?
The best ones come very close, especially after the opening notes settle. The originals often have a slightly more distinctive initial impact because of premium raw materials. But in real-world wear over a full day, the difference is often minimal.
What concentration are Aromara fragrances?
