The oil for Verdict arrived on 14 October 2026, the day this page went live. We added it because Decision is one of the most searched Amouage scents in the UK right now, at around 2,900 searches a month, while only around 50 a month search for a dupe of it. What Decision smells like
It opens with a jolt. Pink pepper, cardamom and bergamot, bright and a little electric. Amouage describe the opening as a bolt of lightning, and it earns the line.
Then the incense arrives. Frankincense and myrrh, cooled down by juniper berries, so it reads clean and mineral rather than heavy and churchy.
The base is cedarwood, patchouli and a warm vanilla. Soft enough to wear every day, with enough smoke to feel serious.
Fragrantica voters file it as woody aromatic, with amber, warm spicy and fresh spicy accords up front. They wear it through autumn, winter and spring, a little less in high summer, and as often by day as by night.

Over the last 90 days (to 14 October 2026), the best seller in that line was Direction, our take on Guidance, with 34 sold, 5ml and 50ml together, before counting bundle picks. Some cheap dupes use cheaper oils and stretch them with DPG, Ambroxan and other fillers. We never add DPG. Our oils are built by specialist fragrance houses, every batch is rested more than once, and we smell every batch against the original.
