What Beach Hut Man smells like
Real mint first, the fresh-leaf kind, not toothpaste. Galbanum sits next to it, sharp and green like a snapped stem.
Then it goes damp and earthy. Moss, vetiver and ivy, like a path through trees after rain.
The base is patchouli, myrrh and dry woods. Soft, resinous and very long lasting.
Reviewers keep saying it smells more like a coastal forest than a beach. They compare it to Polo Green and Terre d'Hermès, and a few call it old-school in the best sense. It is loud. Two sprays is plenty.
Amouage launched it in 2017.

Is Beach Hut Man discontinued?
Amouage have not made a public statement. On 30 September 2026 their UK site had no full-size page for it, their US site showed it out of stock, and in the UK only the 2 x 10ml men's duo was on sale. Some wearers also say newer batches smell slightly lighter than the early ones.
Either way, it is hard to get in the UK.

Who it suits and when to wear it
Men who like green, earthy scents: vetiver fans, Terre d'Hermès wearers, anyone bored of sweet. It works all year and is at its best outdoors.
