Maison Crivelli launched Ambre Chromatique in 2022, an Extrait de Parfum made with perfumer Quentin Bisch. At Harrods the 50ml is £205. Prism Amber is Aromara's take on it, and it is in stock now. A full 50ml, 35% Extrait, £40.
Maison Crivelli tell it as a night trek through a jungle, hunting for benzoin resin: bright spice first, then boozy, liqueur-like notes, then warm coloured amber. Incense and pink pepper open it. Davana and osmanthus sit in the heart. Then it settles on amber, benzoin and Bourbon vanilla.
