Maison Crivelli launched Iris Malikhân in 2020, an Eau de Parfum made with perfumer Marc Zini. At Harrods it is £190 for 100ml. Iris Mahal is Aromara's take on it, and it is in stock now. A full 50ml, 35% Extrait, £40.
Maison Crivelli built it around one find: iris fields in full flower on the edge of a desert. It opens green and sharp, with cypress, mastic and galbanum. Then powdery orris butter and mimosa, warmed by vanilla, a leather accord and amber, on soft musks.

Why is it called Iris Mahal?
Maison Crivelli say Malikhân joins Malik ("king" in Arabic) and Khân. A mahal is a palace, as in the Taj Mahal. Same royal feel, same iris. So: Iris Mahal.
How much is Iris Malikhân in the UK?
£190 for 100ml at Harrods (checked October 2026). There is no 50ml in the UK. Iris Mahal is £40 for 50ml, or any three 50ml bottles for £80.
What concentration is it?
Maison Crivelli make Iris Malikhân as an Eau de Parfum and publish its concentration: 20%. Iris Mahal is 35% Extrait, the same as every scent we make.
Is it the same as Crimson Cuir?
No. Crimson Cuir, our take on Cuir InfraRouge, is a warm, fruity leather. Iris Mahal is green, powdery iris over vanilla and leather. Same house, different mood.
