Lorenzo Pazzaglia grew up on the Italian Adriatic coast in Fano, surrounded by the aromas of his father's kitchen. As an adult, he became a chef and opened the family restaurant Il Poggio in Cagli with his family. For years, fragrance was a side pursuit, a way to capture the scents of memory and place.
In 2021, after a decade of experimentation, Pazzaglia officially launched his own fragrance line under the PAX brand. He had spent those years researching and testing, driven by a simple need: to create Extraits de Parfum with exceptional concentration and longevity. Most commercial fragrances are built for mass market dilution. Pazzaglia builds for impact. Pazzaglia's breakthrough came quickly. Summer Hammer won "Best Fragrance Revelation 2024" at the Perfume Awards in Madrid. The brand earned further recognition at the Scentxplore Awards in New York, where it was named "Rising Star Perfumer 2024". His fragrances have appeared in Vogue and Elle. None of this is accident. The concentration, the storytelling, the commitment to small-batch quality over volume, marks a practitioner who has studied his craft carefully.
